Whenever we read any topics regarding Australian demography, we frequently see the terms, generation X, generation Y. Sometimes, couple of readers get confused ,actually what these different generations stand for ?
Builders :The total population born between 1920 to 1945 are known as generation Builders.
Baby Boomers : The number population born between 1946 to 1964.
Generation X : Born between 1965 to 1979.
Generation Y: Born between 1980 to 1994 . the biggest population in Australia.
Generation Z : born between 1995 to 2009.
Generation Alpha : 2010 ----

Captain James Cook
Captain James Cook and the history of Australia is inseparable to each other.He was one of the greatest navigators of all times.
He was born in 1728 in England. Discovery of Australia is one of his greatest achievements.
Discovery of NewZealand
Captain Cook started his navigation with the ship Endeavour, accompanied by two botanist Joseph Bank and Daniel Carl Salander and with a large number of crews. In 1767 Captain Cook discovered Tahiti and New Zealand.
Discovery of East Coast of New Holland ( Australia)
On 17 April in1770 , Endeavour first sighted the east coast of New Holland . At that time Australia was known to them as New Holland. Captain Cook found a convenient place to anchor on 28 April ,1770 , the place later known as Botany Bay by Joseph Bank. But first Captain Cook named this place as " Stingray harbour".
