 Sydney Opera House is  one of the most beautiful and spectacular architectural designs in the world .The construction of this building was started in 1953 and this master piece was inaugurated in 1973. Danish Jorn Utzon was the prime architecture , won this gigantic job to design this world famous Opera House in Sydney Harbour .

“Sydney Opera House is a great architectural work of the 20th century. It represents multiple strands of creativity, both in architectural form and structural design, a great urban sculpture carefully set in a remarkable waterscape and a world famous iconic building.” UNESCO
It has been enlisted in World Heritage List in 2007 .

 I visited Kiama couple of days ago , almost one and half an hour drive from Sydney . Kiama is one of the ancient places of South coast of New South Wales , Australia . If you visit Kiama , I am sure you can enjoy an exquisite time with the beauties and atiquities of this place ; the blowhole , Kiama lighthouse ( which was built in 1887) and the beautiful beaches and luxuriant green .

skyrocketing price of electricity in Australia

If we see a comparative price- study of electricity , then obviously  the result will come up that the price of electricity is skyrocketing in Australia ; what is very devastating for thousands of Australian families. Electricity is the most expensive in Australia than any other countries of the world. Carbon tax and infrastructure costs are enhancing the  electricity-price to horrible extent . The Independent Pricing And Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) has given permission to increase the price 16.4% in NSW  for 2012-13 due to " rising network costs and the introduction of the carbon tax " .

The above mentioned data obviously indicate how much price has been increased in the last couple of years . Due to the price hike , every household will have to pay an extra amount $338 for power bill every year .
IPART chairman Dr Peter Boxall said  "the proposed price increases would be difficult for many customers but were necessay to ensure that the retailers can recover the costs of providing electricity and remain financially viable ".
