April 24,2013 a black day in the history of garments industry of Bangladesh. Just one month before on this day ,one nine-storey building , which was a shoddy construction collapsed . Thousands of garments workers were on duty of five garments companies on different levels of this building . This monster tragedy has claimed the lives of more than one thousand workers. Most of them garments workers are extremely poor . It is a black day in the history of Bangladesh.But this sort accident is not new , couple of months ago another garments fire incident claimed more than one hundred lives. Most unfortunate aspect of this sort of accident in Bangladesh is no organization even government is not working properly to stop this sort of devastating brutal incident . These are not natural disaster , they are man -made incident , lack of humanity , absence of OH&S measures and extreme greed of maximizing profits are main causes behind this sort brutal and horrific incidents.
